Bill Landfair has been a full-time production potter for 30 years starting in 1981, and for several years (in New Hampshire as owner of Granite Lake Pottery) had a crew of over 20 people working under him, producing and selling over $500,000.00 dollars worth of pottery a year. During those years Bill maintained his throwing skills, and was making all of the sinks sold in the business.

Bill has always loved the West. Eventually he decided to move to Idaho and established Raft River Pottery.

Bill has sold his pottery in the Boise Farmers Market, the Wood River Farmers Market in Sun Valley, and last year (2011) sold his hand thrown stoneware in the Idaho Falls Farmers Market every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Starting April 26th and continuing through October 25th,
In 2012 Bill will be exhibiting in the Idaho Falls Farmers market two weeks a month starting in May through October, plus craft fairs( schedule will be available when all the juried shows are in) In June Bill will be at the Summerfest in Logan , Utah on the 14th 15th and 16th, then back to the farmers market in Idaho Falls on the 23rd . In July Bill will be at the Idaho Falls Farmers market on the 7th and 21rst On the 27th 28th and 29th of july Bill will be at Teton Village craft fair ( near Jackson Hole , Wyoming)
